1. Your Information

Due to the nature of our business we are required to collect personal information from you in order to provide you with our services. We need to keep records to inform future communications and to keep you updated on our activities.

The types of information that we may collect includes: Your name, contact details, business background and employer.

This list is non-exhaustive and we may, in some circumstances, collect further information, however we only collect data which we have a legitimate interest in processing or that is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual and statutory obligations. We collect this information from you, from people who you know, from government departments, from databases that we have a subscription to and from other third parties that you identify to us.

Castles Education does not currently use any automated decision-making processes


2. How Long will you hold my information for?

We are required by law to hold only your information for as long as is necessary to comply with our statutory and contractual obligations and in accordance with our legitimate interests as a data controller. We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that your Personal Data is maintained and up to date. However, you are under a duty to inform us of any and all changes to your Personal Data to ensure that it is up to date and we will update or delete your Personal Data accordingly. Where we do not have a statutory or contractual duty or a legitimate interest to store your data, or where you have not asked us or agreed to receiving communications from us, it will be erased


3. Marketing Preferences

Should you submit information to our website you accept that we may use this information to contact you to discuss your interest in Castle Special Projects LLP and / or Castles Education LLP.

When submitting your details to our website you will be asked whether you would like to receive marketing communications. Should you provide your consent we will use your contact details to send you relevant information via email. You may opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link contained within these communications or by contacting privacy@castlesllp.co.uk

Your data is stored in accordance with data protection legislation including The Global Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We may share your information with trusted third party service providers such as our marketing automation platform (Mailchimp). Where data is transferred or processed outside of the EU/EEA this is via trusted third party service providers who will process this data in line with corresponding data protection regulations. Castles Education maintains a commitment to the protection of your privacy and safeguarding your information, as such we encrypt personal data when it is being passed between departments within the Castles organisation.


5. How we collect and aggregate information about visitors to our website

We also collect information about the way visitors use our website in order to improve our services. We do not use information gained in this manner in a way that any individual can be identified, and will use it to understand our users better, and to determine aggregate trends, most popular pages, etc., for all the website’s users. We may share this kind of aggregate data with selected third parties to assist with these purposes where you have consented to this. We may also undertake marketing profiling to help us identify services or jobs which may be of interest to you.


6. Sending us information over the internet

Castle Special Projects LLP is dedicated to the protection of your information however the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
